I keep wanting to see this movie - saw about ten minutes of one of the House films and was curious to see the rest - but... The name has been used for one horror-conedy franchise, a Japanese movie (apparently about doppelgangers - was not dubbed and was hard to follow the subtitles) and another movie so keep getting the wrong one!
I know the movie you're talking about and wrote a review on it :) I had the thrill of watching the Japanese horror movie HAUS while on meds after appendix surgery. What a ride. I really didn't need medication to feel like I was hallucinating. HAUS is definitely a movie for people who say they've seen everything.

Love House! I still remember the purple dress and red fingernails to this day! It is a bad/good horror and a classic!
Hated/loved this movie as a kid lol.
Great review! Love this one and House 2 even more which is a fun low key Halloween watch.
